That what he said on the stand Monday, during his second day of testimony as he tries to clear his name in his seditious conspiracy trial. Rhodes said he had no idea his followers were going to join the pro-Donald Trump mob to storm the Capitol and that he was upset after he found out that some did. Rhodes is on trial with four others for what prosecutors have alleged was a plan to stage an armed rebellion to stop the transfer of presidential power from Republican Trump to Democrat Joe Biden.

The Indianapolis Colts have fired coach Frank Reich after another lackluster offensive performance in the team’s third consecutive loss. The Colts announced the move one day after it went 0 for 14 on third down and totaled just 121 yards of offense in an ugly 26-3 loss at New England. Reich was hired in 2018 after serving as offensive coordinator for the Super Bowl-winning Philadelphia Eagles. He led the Colts to the playoffs in two of his first four seasons.
