CHARLOTTE, N.C. — WCCB will head to SouthPark Mall to ‘Stuff The Truck’ with your Angel Tree donations on November 30th. You can drop off your Angel Tree gifts with members of the WCCB team, The Salvation Army, and our sponsors, Acosta Heating, Cooling & Electrical, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Cool Renewal Spa, and Queen City Audio Video & Appliances.
WCCB Charlotte’s CW and The Salvation Army operate the Angel Tree program to provide Christmas assistance to those in need in our community.
Joining the various familiar faces from WCCB Charlotte and the Salvation Army at SouthPark Mall today have been Charlotte Motor Speedway, Medic, Opera Carolina, and Acosta Heating, Cooling & Electrical, Queen City Audio Video & Appliances – all helping to STUFF THE TRUCK!
Families register children aged 12 and under to receive new Christmas gifts for the holidays. Once registered, each child’s information is placed on an angel to be adopted. Individuals, families, groups, and companies are given the opportunity to adopt angels and purchase Christmas gifts for these children.
All gifts are then returned, sorted, and distributed to the families prior to Christmas Day. Through the involvement of the community, many lives are touched and much joy is spread through the Angel Tree program.
Don’t worry if you’ve not been able to make an adoption, we will still collect your new, unwrapped toys, clothes, and electronics and The Salvation Army will make sure it gets to a child that needs them this Christmas.
