Missing 1-Year-Old Mint Hill Girl Found Safe, Abductor Still At Large

An Amber Alert has been cancelled for a missing 1-year-old girl from Mint Hill after she was found safe on Sunday.

Police are still trying to locate her abductor, who they believe to be the girl’s father.

Authorities say the girl was taken to a local hospital just to be checked after the incident.

MINT HILL, N.C. — Police are searching for missing 1-year-old Lilliana Josephine Lemmond after she was abducted from a home in Mint Hill.

Investigators say there is allegedly one abductor, Jeremy Scott Lemmond, described as a 39-year-old White man, 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Lilliana Lemmond is described as a 1-year-old White girl, 2 feet tall, 25 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police say she was last seen at 5332 Quail Ridge Drive in Mint Hill, N.C. and suspect she may be in a black 2011 Subaru Legacy with NC license tag number JBV6840.
