Louisiana COVID-19 cases total over 368K

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Health reported Thursday 779 new COVID-19 cases and 33 new deaths. Confirmed cases stand at 368,218 and 8,885 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.

The health department reported 679 patients in the hospital being treated for COVID-19 and 100 were on ventilators.

As of Feb. 22, 408,463 patients have recovered.
