Benji’s wish is to have a REAL bus
The Extreme Team has partnered with local businesses again, to volunteer their time and resources into making another wish come true. Benji, a wonderful kid from Spokane, lives with a rare medical condition that challenges his socialization abilities; he only communicates when he is in or around a bus.
Benji’s mother has a small bus in their backyard which Benji loves and will communicate around. Sometimes, Benji’s mom will take him on a bus ride, just to spend more time to communicate with him.
Now Benji is going to have a real bus in his backyard to enjoy!
Benji will be able to sit in the drivers seat and steer, he’ll be able to have meals with a dining room. An art table will go in along with a retractable TV to watch some of his favorite shows like Blues Clues and of course, the Magic School Bus!
The bus will be painted just for Benji and will include areas for his physical therapist can work with him inside the comfort of the bus.
